Media Training
This intensive workshop enables you to master print, television,
radio and on-line interviews. JFCI will help you develop or
refine the skills and information you need to participate
in media interviews, whether hostile or friendly, with confidence
and control. You'll learn how to prepare and convey your message
for maximum impact.

Sessions include multiple true-to-life interviews with critiques.
JFCI's proprietary preparation and message process is applied
to your situation to help you strategize. This includes examining
your message objectives and preparing for different types
of questioning tactics. We teach you about your rights as
an interviewee to help ensure that you are treated fairly
by reporters. And we cover different interview formats, including
print, live segment/feature, satellite feeds, and telephone
interviews. In order to be successful with the media, we believe
you must know how to adapt to a variety of formats. With your
input, the Media Counsel program is customized to address
either a wide spectrum of interview formats, or the interview
format of your choice.
Media opportunities are far too important to leave to chance.
Fred Friendly, former CBS News President, once said: "Newspeople
get coaching from their directors and producers, so why shouldn't
the other side get the same help?" At JFCI, we agree.
Media Counsel helps participants take on the toughest interviewers,
including those from The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, CNN, "Nightline", "Sixty Minutes," and "Today."
We can do the same for you. Learn how to turn interviews to
your advantage, using them as opportunities to persuade and
motivate your target audiences.
